Plot Synopsis

Using archival footage and commentary from public relations agents, pop culture experts and lawyers, CELEBRITY DAMAGE CONTROL chronicles the stories of celebrities who were caught committing a crime -- or doing something just plain wrong -- and then explores how they managed to survive scandal with their careers intact. From driving under the influence to shoplifting, from tax evasion to beating up paparazzi, or being the victim of an embarrassing blackmail scam, this series reveals why celebrities are forgiven and deemed innocent by the public -- even if proven guilty. Each 60-minute episode features a different celebrity, including: Mike Tyson, Mickey Rourke, Sean Penn, Michael Vick, Martha Stewart, Robert Downey Jr., Charlie Sheen, Hugh Grant, Mel Gibson, Rob Lowe and many more TV/movie stars, sports figures and pop-culture icons who have had a brush with the law.
