Plot Synopsis

Each year since 2011, Charlotte, NC, has hosted the Carolina Rebellion, an annual hard rock and heavy metal music festival. The inaugural festival was a one-day event held at the Metrolina Expo on Saturday, May 7, 2011, featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, and more. The 2012 event was still a one-day music festival, but the concert moved to Rockingham Speedway. Expanding to two days in 2013, Carolina Rebellion moved to its current home at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The festival remained a two-day event in 2014 and 2015, and expanded to three days in 2016.

In 2016, Carolina Rebellion made its debut on AXS TV, as the cable channel broadcast live coverage each day of the three-day music festival from the Rock City Campgrounds in Charlotte, NC, including select performance footage from these artists (for the full broadcast schedule, including start times for each band, check here: http://www.axs.tv/festival/carolina-rebellion/):
