Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Howie Mandel, CARAOKE SHOWDOWN is a half-hour series that follows host Craig Robinson as he takes groups of passengers on a musical journey to win money by competing in a variety of karaoke-style challenges. Throughout various rounds of game play, contestants compete for cash by belting out their favorite tunes, finishing lyrics or acting out songs. Plus, special guests hop in from time to time and help singers win big. But this musical trip isn't just confined to inside the caraoke. Gameplay can take contestants onto the street recruiting pedestrians (and total strangers!) in a variety of music-related challenges. Each 30-minute episode ends when the two teams with the most prize money 'crash' an event at surprise locations. The finalists then must perform karaoke in front of a crowd that ultimately gets to determine the grand prize winner. In the series opener, "Magic Mic," Craig picks up unsuspecting passengers to play karaoke games for money, including a pair of Chippendale dancers. DJ Steve Aoki joins a mashup inspired game that leaves one passenger messy.

On Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 7:30pm ET/PT, Spike premiered the season finale of CARAOKE SHOWDOWN. In the season ender, "Proud Mary, Tina, Britney and Cher," some of the hottest drag performers in Vegas take over Craig's van to help contestants win piles of cash playing karaoke games.
