Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of CAKE HUNTERS, three cake designers present jaw-dropping concepts to party hosts planning a big event, and they pick one cake for their big bash. On Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered the pilot episode of CAKE HUNTERS, but had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, Josh and Jessalyn have planned everything for their French-themed wedding, except for their cake. When they select their favorite cake from one of the three designers -- Fancy Cakes by Leslie, Desserts By Dana, and Fluffy Thoughts Cakes -- will their centerpiece dessert make it to the reception on time and in one piece? More than nine months later -- on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10pm ET/7pm PT, Cooking Channel debuted the official series premiere. In the series opener, "Flower Power," sophisticated Vanessa and her Southern beau, Tim, are trying to find a cake that suits both their tastes. Vanessa wants a garden-themed, Savannah-inspired showpiece, while Tim wants something that tells the story of their romance without being flowery or feminine. Can Vanessa convince her good old boy that flowers make the cake? On Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 10pm ET/7pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered the second season of CAKE HUNTERS. In the season opener, "Carnival Dreams," Mike and Miranda have always shared a love of fun and are planning a carnival-themed wedding, an homage to their first date, but the cake design is still up in the air. Mike wants a cake heavy on thrill rides like roller coasters, while Miranda wants classic romance like a tunnel of love, with pink to match her dress. Finding a cake that'll satisfy them both has turned into one bumpy ride. After a six-month break, CAKE HUNTERS returned with new episodes on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on Cooking Channel. In the premiere, "Dallas Dream Cake," Jay Michaels and Jay Roecker, lovingly known as "the Jays", want a cake as chic and over-the-top as their personalities for their wine cellar wedding. They agree on three things: their dogs, their chickens and their love of music. But when it comes to cake flavor, it's Red Velvet vs. Peanut Butter in a Texas-sized cake off. Season 4 of CAKE HUNTERS premiered on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT. In the season opener, "Wedding Cakes in the Big Easy," Mike wants a wedding cake that's loud and over the top, proudly representing their home city of New Orleans. Shanda is looking for the opposite, she wants traditional and classic all the way. It's a Mardi Gras, Bourbon Street battle for the perfect wedding cake to suit them both.

Cooking Channel premiered the season finale of CAKE HUNTERS on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10pm ET/7pm PT.
