Plot Synopsis

Thirty years after a disease that turns the infected into carnivorous insects emerged, young exterminator Kidow and teenage girl Ilie search for her mother. While working as security for a merchant, Kidow intervenes when insects attack, then promises to convey Ilie to her mother. As gruesome murders come to light, Kidow suspects they're not the work of insects. When Ilie goes to the market, someone steals her bag. Ilie befriends the leader of the Red Rats. At Mario Garden, Kidow receives a letter and a map marked with the locations of the murders. On Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 12-episode first season of CAGASTER OF AN INSECT CAGE, a half-hour anime series.
