Plot Synopsis

THE CABIN CHRONICLES is a short-form docuseries that explores the architecture, design and human connection behind beautiful cabins and their surroundings. Each episode is 5-10 minutes long, focusing on a single structure, including: Snoqualmie A-Frame (in Washington state); Wilson River Cabin (in Oregon); The Artist Cabin (above the Puget Sound); Sky House (in remote Washington state); and more. The first four episodes of THE CABIN CHRONICLES dropped on Thursday, July 15, 2021 on discovery+ and the Magnolia app, the day it launched. THE CABIN CHRONICLES made its linear television debut on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 6pm ET/PT on DIY Network.

The Magnolia App released the first two episodes of THE CABIN CHRONICLES' second season on Friday, January 14, 2022. In the season opener, "Blackwood Cabin," a couple have dreamed for years of owning a cabin. After the birth of their third child, they build a comfortable cabin retreat in Washington State for their growing family to enjoy for years to come.

The first four episodes of Season 3 dropped on the Magnolia App on Friday, June 16, 2023. New installments drop each Friday. In the season opener, "Ossipoff Cabin," a family enlists the help of a fellow architect to restore this mysterious Vladimir Ossipoff cabin in Wai'anae Mountain Range in Hawaii. They aim to honor the past while giving the cabin a modern flair and creating a peaceful getaway.
