Plot Synopsis
BULLETPROOF is a one-hour, cop drama series that follows two undercover cops, partners Bishop and Pike, as they chase down hardened criminals in London's East End. On the surface, Bishop and Pike have a lot in common: they are cool, smart, unapologetically street-wise and tough; they share a deep, fraternal relationship and are always there for each other. Their personal motivations and emotional lives outside the police force differ, Pike is an aspirational family man, the son of a decorated police officer, determined to follow in his father's footsteps, but not in his shadow. Bishop on the other hand, who never knew his father, grew up in foster care and on the streets.
BULLETPROOF had its U.S. premiere on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. In the series opener, an informant is killed, leading Pike and Bishop to uncover a luxury car theft ring. When two members of the team are taken hostage, Bishop accidentally shoots Jonesy, but when he arrives at the ER to check on his mate, Bishop is the one who walks away wounded.
Season 2 of BULLETPROOF had its U.S. premiere on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW. The new season opens with a chance discovery that propels Bishop and Pike deep undercover, and they soon find themselves at the heart of a notorious international crime family. After an action-packed sting results in the seizure of drug money worth a million pounds, Bishop and Pike set about tracing who the money belongs to, in an effort to thwart those responsible for an orchestrated drug drought, designed to strangle the market. Meanwhile, the Unit are under the watchful eye of the new 'by-the-book' Deputy Director.
On Monday, March 15, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT, the three-episode third season of BULLETPROOF had its U.S. debut. In the new season, Bishop and Pike take a holiday to South Africa that they won't soon forget. Bishop tags along on Pike's family vacation to Capetown but plans of relaxing on a beach take a dark turn when the daughter of a new acquaintance goes missing, putting our favorite heroes right in the middle of the kidnapping. Out of their jurisdiction and completely alone, Bishop and Pike are taken on a journey from the picturesque coastline, to poverty-stricken townships through the underbelly of corruption and greed. With the odds against them they must rely on each other, their expertise and more than one pair of trainers.
