Plot Synopsis
BRING IT! is a one-hour reality series that follows Miss D and the Dancing Dolls, a dance troupe for girls ages seven to 17 that she founded in 2011 in Jackson, MS, which has won more than 15 Grand Champion titles and more than 100 trophies in hip-hop majorette competitions. Each 60-minute episode follows the top Dolls and their dedicated moms, as they prepare for parades, showcases, and cutthroat competitions against dance troupes in Mississippi and Tennessee. Miss D has a well-earned reputation for being both a fierce competitor and a phenomenal mentor who teaches her students the importance of a good education, persistence and positive self-worth. BRING IT! features these four Dolls: Camryn, who has been dancing since she was six years old, became part of the Dollhouse Dance Factory at age 10, and was voted Head Drill Master in July 2013; Crystianna, who has been dancing since she was five years old, joined the Dolls in 2006 -- but left for a short period of time to cheer, returning to the Dolls in 2008; Kayla, who has been dancing since the she was two years old, joined the Dolls in February 2008, and is now captain of the team; and Sunjai, who has been dancing since she was five years old and has been a part of the Dolls since 2012. On Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, Lifetime aired the summer premiere of BRING IT!. After a spring season full of fierce competition, Miss D is willing to do whatever it takes for the Dancing Dolls to remain the best hip-hop majorette dance troupe in the South. BRING IT! returns for its summer season with the annual Dancing Dolls tryouts, where Miss D scouts for fresh talent and weeds out any weak links on the team. Even veteran dancers have to fight to keep their spot on the squad. Kayla returns to reclaim her captain position, and Camryn and Crystianna both vie for leadership roles. Will Sunjai return to the Dolls after her fallout with Miss D at the Battle Royale last season?
On Friday, January 23, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, Lifetime premiered the second season of BRING IT!. In Season 2, Coach D and the Dancing Dolls are back and taking the country by storm as they look for their fiercest rivals in the world of elite hip-hop majorette dance competitions. While the Supastarz troupe from Miami brings the heat, they are no match for the new mom who is creating even more drama in the Dollhouse. Immediately before the Season 2 opener, Lifetime aired the "Prepare 4 Battle Preview" special at 8pm ET/PT. This one-hour special reviews the Dancing Dolls' greatest rivals and reflects on the dancers' experiences. After a three-month break, BRING IT! returned with new episodes on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime, immediately following a new one-hour special (8pm) and an all-day marathon (8am-8pm) of encore episodes. The special, "Inside the Dollhouse: Your Questions Answered," highlights memorable moments from previous seasons, gives a preview of upcoming episodes, and allows Miss D to answer viewers' questions. Then, in the mid-season premiere, "A Whole New Doll Game," things heat up in the summer at the Dollhouse, as Miss Dianna shakes things up after a series of crucial losses including at the final championship. In an effort push her dancers to bring on their A game, Coach D announces the spots for battle captains are up for grabs. Plus, a rival coach comes to compete.
Season 3 of BRING IT! premiered on Friday, January 1, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT, immediately following a brand-new special at 8pm and an all-day marathon (8am-8pm) of encore episodes. In the new season, all bets are off with the Dollhouse divided. The Dancing Dolls must bring their "A " game with tougher judges and bigger, badder rivals. Miss D finds herself with new dancers that need a lot of work to get into winning shape. Can newcomer Faith save the team or will her outspoken mother push Miss D to her breaking point? With the title of 'best all around dancer' being added to the Battle Royale, everyone must do their best to impress Miss D to get the honor. In the special (8pm), "A Very Bring It! New Year," Miss D and the Dancing Dolls take a look back at their favorite moments, discuss the drama and dish on all of the Dollhouse newbies. Then, in the season opener (9pm), "Straight Outta Jackson," Coach D is determined to lead her Dolls to victory in this week's street battle against Compton, and the new stand battle team is at odds with the veterans. After a four-month break, BRING IT! returned with new episodes on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime, immediately following a new one-hour special at 8pm and a six-hour marathon (2-8pm) of encore episodes. In the new special (8pm), "Summer of Surprises Special," Dianna and the DDP host a countdown celebration, and Dancing Dolls answer viewer questions and share behind-the-scenes gossip. Plus, the special includes sneak peeks of the upcoming season. Then, in the summer premiere (9pm), "Team Kayla vs Team Dianna," for the first time in Dollhouse history, Coach D splits the Dancing Dolls into two teams for a fiercely competitive scrimmage match. It's David vs. Goliath, as Team Kayla goes against Team Dianna in an effort to get new dancers trained for the summer dance season. The heat is on, as each DDP must choose a side, for an all-out Doll battle. In the rest of Season 3, it's a summer full of surprises for the Dancing Dolls as each week Miss D must battle the girls and their parents to raise the bar and deliver the very best performances. The heat is on as the Dolls build up to the Summer Slam, their first-ever national tour, and a very personal dance-off between Miss D and a key rival. The Rap Game's Lil Niqo and celebrity choreographer Todrick Hall will also make special guest appearances.
The fourth season of BRING IT! premiered on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime. After a meltdown led to her disqualification from the Summer Slam Battle Round, Miss D decides she needs to get back to basics and focus on what really matters: growing her girls into amazing dancers. The Bring it Live! Tour took the girls around the country and exposed them to new rivals and new opportunities. The Dolls will still have a battle every week but with some of her key girls getting closer to graduation, Miss D is pushing them to think bigger. She's enlisted the help of new Ballet Instructor, Tori to prep them for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The Broadway Dance Company has agreed to give one of her girls a scholarship for a summer dance internship. On top of prepping for Battle Royale, she and Tori have 10 weeks to prepare the girls for this life altering audition. On Friday, December 22, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, Lifetime premiered "A Very Bring It! Holiday," a one-hour BRING IT! holiday episode. Coach D, the Dancing Dolls and the DDP celebrate the holidays with sizzling sneak peeks of the season, answering viewer questions, and celebrating super fans who are heroes in their communities. The DDP share their "holiday hacks" and Coach D determines if the Baby Dancing Dolls are naughty or nice.
Lifetime premiered the fifth season of BRING IT! on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT. It's a new competition season and Miss D is focusing on the future... with a vengeance. But could this be her last season in Jackson? Queen D has realized her dream of opening a new Dollhouse in Atlanta, but the OGs and DDP need Miss D's magic now more than ever because a new captain needs to be chosen to fill Camie's shoes. A fiery new superstar also just blew in from New York City and she is looking to rewrite the Dollhouse rule book! In the season opener, "If You Can't Stand the Heat...," Coach D begins a new dance season with the ultimate quest to find the Dancing Dolls' next captain. A new dancer and DDP shakes up the team after moving from NYC to Jackson and introducing some "high maintenance" demands. Will a new captain nominee step up to a Wild-West-themed "showdown"? Or will the competition leave the Dancing Dolls in the dust? After a 4.5-month break, BRING IT! returned with new episodes on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime. In the summer premiere, "Stands and Deliver," the Dolls face off against their biggest foes, The Prancing Tigerettes and Divas of Olive Branch, in a heated Stands in Stands battle with a live band. Dianna finally takes Crystianna off probation and puts her to the test leading floor stands, but Crystianna fails to impress during practice. Meanwhile, a desperate Selena enlists the help of the DDP to convince Dianna to let her and the twins back in the Dollhouse. BRING IT! returned with new Season 5 episodes on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Lifetime, following a 4.5-month break. Major changes hit the Dollhouse as Camryn steps down as captain, and Makya and Crystianna step up to lead. Coach D begins a new dance season, by breaking her biggest rule, shaking the Dollhouse to its core. The wild experiment led by Coach D's new permanent assistant coach, Marquell, sends the team into complete chaos and puts a huge competition at risk. For the first time ever, boys will be dancing alongside the team, and this new addition creates chaos. With new team captains and a new assistant coach, the boys and girls will have to learn to work together to keep their heads in the battle if they want to be number one.

On Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, Lifetime premiered "Bring It Live! Detour," the Season 5 finale of BRING IT! The Dancing Dolls hit-the-road for the Bring It Live! Tour, but roadblocks along the way leave the fate of tour in serious danger. As the clock ticks down to opening night, Princess battles overcoming her newbie fears, Kayla attempts to find her voice through dance, and Faith struggles to find confidence on the floor after an injury. Will the show soar? Or will Bring It Live! buckle under the spotlight?
