Plot Synopsis

Today's most innovative street magicians reveal the chemistry, physics and biology they use to power the world's greatest illusions. Hidden cameras on the streets of London, Warsaw and New York City capture bystanders completely baffled by these magicians' unexpected tricks. Immediately following these demonstrations, each magician explains the scientific reality behind each illusion. Each 30-minute episode reveals the secrets of three tricks, including: knocking down a wall with the power of one's voice; turning a sliver bracelet into gold; slowing the speed of a dropping cannonball; using intelligent oil; crushing a fuel tanker with one's mind; a death-defying bungee jump;reading people's minds; shifting gravity; and many more feats of showmanship and mystery. The magicians are: Wayne Houchin (United States of America), who made headlines when he escaped from a straitjacket while hanging 50 feet above an intersection at the age of 16 and co-founded magic site theory11.com after working with famed magician Criss Angel; Ben Hanlin (United Kingdom), one of the youngest members of The Magic Circle, who rose to instant fame in the U.K. with a 2011 appearance on BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT; James Galea (Australia), an award-winning magician, who consistently headlines numerous venues with his magic shows across the world and who mystified American audiences during his 2010 routine on THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW; and Billy Kidd (Canada), one of the few female magicians in the world, who was trained under the world famous magician Gazzo and has traveled worldwide to show audiences her unique sense of comedy and slight-of-hand magic tricks.
