Plot Synopsis
When mild-mannered chemistry teacher Walter White, who lives in New Mexico with this wife and teenage son, is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer he becomes obsessed with securing his family's financial future. Using his chemistry know-how to cook crystal-meth, he enters the world of drugs and crime soon becoming a fearless kingpin of the drug trade. BREAKING BAD returned on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC for its final eight episodes. At the end of the first half of Season 5, Jesse abandoned the meth business and parted ways with Walt, who claimed to Skyler that he, too, was finished. "I'm out," he said, leaving her with a glimmer of hope that she no longer had to protect her children from his dangerous profession. But Hank discovered that his unassuming brother-in-law was, in fact, the elusive Heisenberg he had been tracking for so long.
