Plot Synopsis

In this eight-episode limited horror drama, filmmaker Lisa Nova heads to Hollywood in the early '90s to make her movie, but she tumbles down a hallucinatory rabbit hole of sex, magic, revenge -- and kittens. The story opens with sunlit promise -- and the darkest danger -- lying around each bend when Lisa meets a powerful producer...but he wants more than she expects. Rocked by a bizarre birth and thirsty for revenge, Lisa commits herself fully to the curse despite hateful visions. On Friday, August 13, 2021, Netflix released all eight episodes of BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR, which is based on Todd Grimson's 1996 cult novel of the same name.
