Plot Synopsis

Each year from 2014-2019, the BOCA RATON BOWL has featured a team from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) against a team from either Conference USA or the American Athletic Conference, with the leagues rotating each year as part of a six-year agreement. In the inaugural game, the 2014 BOCA RATON BOWL featured two conference champions -- MAC champion Marshall and Conference USA champion Northern Illinois -- facing off at FAU Stadium on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in a game watched by 2.25 million viewers on ESPN.
