Plot Synopsis

BLUEY MINISODES is a series of animated shorts that highlight funny and sweet moments featuring Bluey and Bingo, leaning into playful interactions and games that further explore the characters and world of BLUEY. Each installment is one to three minutes in duration. Written by BLUEY creator Joe Brumm, BLUEY MINISODES made their U.S. debut on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+, which released the first seven episodes:

"Burger Dog" (U.S. Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; U.S. Linear TV Debut on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 7:25am on Disney Junior): The kids want to dance to some annoying music but Dad pretends his battery on his phone is flat until Mum phones him.

"Bingo 3000" (U.S. Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; U.S. Linear TV Debut on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 8:25am on Disney Junior): Dad has bought a brand new "Bingo 3000" robot, but it's not working, so he has to call technical support.

"Muffin Unboxing" (World Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; Linear TV Debut on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 7:25am on Disney Junior): Stripe is filming Muffin unboxing a dump truck toy, but Muffin is struggling to stay focused.

"Letter" (U.S. Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; U.S. Linear TV Debut on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 8:25am on Disney Junior): Nana reads an old story that Bandit wrote from when he was five. The kids find this hilarious as Nana is reading out the words exactly as they are spelt.

"Hungry" (U.S. Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; U.S. Linear TV Debut on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 7:25am on Disney Junior): Dad is hungry so he pretends to eat Bluey.

"Three Pigs" (World Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; Linear TV Debut on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 6:55am on Disney Junior): Dad retells the story of the three little pigs. In this version the pigs and the wolf eventually become friends.

"Animals" (U.S. Premiere on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 on Disney+; U.S. Linear TV Debut on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 6:55am on Disney Junior): Mum is playing the animal game on Bingo's back. She pretends Bingo's back is a big field, and various animals walk, jump and dart across it, making Bingo laugh.

A second batch of seven BLUEY MINISODES premiered on Disney+ on Monday, October 7, 2024, including:

"Tattoo Shop": Bluey and Bingo run a pretend tattoo shop, and draw a tattoo of a unicorn on Bandit's back.

"Phoney": Chilli uses the virtual assistant on her phone to play relaxing music, before Unicorse interrupts and requests heavy metal music.

"Blocks": Bluey and Bingo build a city using building blocks at Nana's house and ask her not to dismantle it. Throughout the week, Nana and Bob try to avoid the structure, but must rebuild it when Bob accidentally knocks it down.

"Government": Bandit pretends to write a letter to the government, with Bingo acting as the letter.

"Drums": At a music store, Bingo tries playing an electric drum kit.

"Browny Bear": After Bandit claims he is not tapping the shoulders of his family members, they task the Browny Bear puppet with the role of detective to determine who the culprit is.

"Whirlpool": Bluey, Bingo and Chucky swim in an inflatable pool, and create a whirlpool.

The final batch of BLUEY MINISODES will premiere in 2025.
