Plot Synopsis

Since it was founded as PapaJohns.com Bowl in 2006, the Birmingham Bowl has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Monday Morning Quarterback Club in support of its charitable arm, Quarterbacking Children's Health Foundation. For the first 14 years, the game was played at old Legion Field, moving to Protective Stadium in 2021 -- one year after the 2020 game was canceled because of COVID. The Birmingham Bowl has tie-ins to the American Athletic Conference, SEC, CUSA, and MAC.
