Plot Synopsis

With the help of local guides, experts and residents, Niall McCann searches for the world's largets and fiercest animals, as he travels around the world. Each 60-minute episode chronicles his journey to find one beast, including: a 30-foot long serpent that lives in the high-mountain, black-water tributaries of the Guyana's Amazon jungle; the largest Asian Elephant in the world, which Niall tracks through a snake-infested jungle and a potential onslaught of enraged wild elephants; the world's largest crocodile in Northern Territory, Australia, where he seeks to live capture a true dinosaur still living today. Velocity aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, January 5, 2013, showing three back-to-back episodes from 8-11pm ET. Two-and-a-half years later, Nat Geo Wild aired the network premiere of BIGGEST & BADDEST on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, showing back-to-back episodes.
