Plot Synopsis

BIG BOLD BUILDS, which first aired in Canada with the title BUILDER BOSS, is a half-hour reality series that follows Jim Caruk, owner and operator of The Caruk Group, as he and his team build and remodel homes for clients. Each 30-minute focuses on a single project, including: a 5,000-square foot Georgian-style mansion; a century old house in a resort town intended to be a live/work space for one of Jim's friends; a fire rebuild for clients Christine and Vito, who have a limited budget from the insurance settlement; a bunker 20 feet underground that must house a golf simulator and a kids' playroom; and many more renovations and new structures. The Bio channel aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, showing four back-to-back episodes from 10pm-Midnight ET/PT.
