Plot Synopsis

Chef Tino Feliciano travels to a different city each week on a mission to hunt down authentic eats for less. An expert in venturing off the beaten path, Tino knows that the ingredients to a great meal are food, value and experience. In each half-hour episode of BIG BARGAIN EATS, Tino shares his strategies for finding food that fills him up without emptying his wallet and explores how local chefs pile on the flavor without packing on the price. On Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10:30pm ET/7:30pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered a sneak-peek episode of BIG BARGAIN EATS, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the special episode, "Key West Deals," Tino is on the hunt for the best bargain meals in Key West, FL, where he kicks off his journey with a stop at Fisherman's Cafe in Key West's Historic Seaport, where owners and father-daughter duo, Morgan and Scott, take Tino on a culinary tour of the area. For his next stop, Tino ventures to Sugarloaf Key to find Mangrove Mama's, a place the locals have sworn by for over 40 years. Next, Tino takes on the town, exploring Key West by bike and meeting a local so full of flavor, he's known as "The Chicken Man." The adventure continues at Tino's final stop, 5 Brothers, where he when samples the amazing Cuban dishes for which they are known.
