BELLATOR MMA LIVE (formerly BELLATOR FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIPS) features live matches from venues around the United States with many of the top mixed martial arts fighters in the world. Bellator, which is Latin for "Warrior," was founded in 2008 by Bjorn Rebney. Bellator continued to air on MTV2 through 2012, and switched to Spike for its eighth season, starting on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10pm ET. Spike presented the Season 10 premiere of BELLATOR MMA LIVE on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 9pm ET/6pm PT, featuring live coverage of Bellator 110 in Uncasville, CT that included Bellator's Light Heavyweight tournament opening round matches -- Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson vs. Christian M'Pumbu and Mikhail Zayats vs. King Mo Lawal -- and the opening round of the Featherweight tourney.
