Plot Synopsis

BEING MANDELA is a reality series that follows Swati Dlamini and Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway, the granddaughters of Nelson and Winnie Mandela. Swati and Zaziwe, who are also the daughters of Zenani Mandela Dlamini and Prince Thumbumuzi Dlamini, carry on the family legacy while juggling their personal lives, such as cage diving in shark-infested waters and traveling to Swaziland, where they are African princesses. Plus, the sisters make an emotional trip to the prison on Robben Island, off the coast of Cape Town, where their grandfather was imprisoned for 18 years.
