Plot Synopsis

BAYLEN OUT LOUD is a one-hour docuseries that follows Baylen Dupree, a vibrant and resilient 22-year-old with Tourette Syndrome. Every day, Baylen faces a variety of extreme and uncontrollable vocal and motor tics while navigating the challenges of becoming an independent adult. She is supported by her loving family in West Virginia, including her devoted boyfriend, Colin; protective father, Allen; strong and independent mother, Julie; and five siblings, including: 23-year-old Burke, the oldest child, who is a recent college graduate looking to kickstart his career; Sammi, the third oldest and the second girl in the family, who lives with her boyfriend in Kansas but often comes home to visit family; 16-year-old Sven, who is really into sports and socializing with friends; 13-year-old Vick, who loves the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing; and 10-year-old Bechnir, who is full of life and personality and just wants to have fun. With their help, Baylen learns to manage the complexities of Tourette and embrace life fully. Baylen's tics began as involuntary movements and noises and intensified in her teenage years. Officially diagnosed with Tourette at the age of 18, Baylen has learned to laugh at herself through it all.
