Plot Synopsis

Erin and Sara Foster -- the multi-hyphenate producer, actress and writer daughters of Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster -- portray sisters who navigate the treacherous Los Angeles waters of career and dating, all while trying to maintain their picture perfect image. The sisters are followed through their awkward celebrity encounters and efforts to book their next big gig and when things go horribly wrong -- as they tend to do -- the ladies prove that living the Hollywood lifestyle isn't easy, even if you're born into it. In each half-hour episode, the Foster sisters parody the most obvious and outlandish conventions of reality TV by centering around two sisters who say they would never do a reality show, but are being filmed by a camera crew. Season 2 of BARELY FAMOUS premiered on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 10-11pm ET/PT, as VH1 debuted back-to-back new episodes. Season 2 continues to satirize the reality TV genre by exploring the endless hypocrisy of Hollywood wealth and fame. Each half-hour episode of dives into the world of celebrity in a docu-style format through the eyes of the delusional, hilarious and beautiful Foster sisters. The six-episode third season features cameos by Chris Martin, Chelsea Handler, Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Zach Braff, Kate Upton, Cindy Crawford, Brooke Burke, Dr. Phil, Ali Larter, Lauren London, Joey Fatone and more. In the season opener, "Career Goals," Erin is determined to launch her writing career after experiencing life as a reality star, and remind people she's more than what they see on TV. When a professional lunch meeting with Jessica Alba turns into an unexpectedly wild adventure around Los Angeles, Erin has to fight her party-girl tendencies in order to impress her possible new boss. Meanwhile, Sara attempts to expand her celebrity by starting a lifestyle brand, but ends up with a shoddy energy drink as her first product. Both sisters struggle with the realization that taking their Hollywood careers to the next level isn't as glamorous as it seems.

On Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11pm ET/PT, VH1 premiered the Season 2 finale of BARELY FAMOUS. In the season ender, "Breaking Blonde," the sisters find themselves being interrogated by the police, and have to watch the show's footage to piece together their wild day involving a lip injection, a kidnapping, and Kate Hudson.
