As a forensic pathologist in Paris, he works with no-nonsense chief inspector Helene Bach to solve the city's most disturbing crimes. BALTHAZAR's second season had its U.S. debut on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT on Acorn TV, as the streaming service released all 10 episodes of the new season. In the season opener, "Funeral March," a dead dog covered in human blood leads police on a frantic hunt for a missing infant. Suspicion immediately falls on the child's nanny, who is not who she says she is, but Balthazar connects the case to a prestigious music academy instead.

Balthazar returns in this mystery drama series, where he helps make the dead speak like no one else to solve Paris' most disturbing crimes. Season 3 picks up the action six months following the tragic consequences of his investigation into the murder of his wife, Lise, a dozen years ago.
