Plot Synopsis

BAHAMAS LIFE is a half-hour reality series that follows average people -- married/partnered couples, parents/children, siblings or friends from the USA and Canada -- who have fallen in love with the Bahamian lifestyle and are ready to make their island dream a reality. On Monday, January 1, 2018 from 2-3pm, HGTV premiered back-to-back episodes of BAHAMAS LIFE, which moves to its regular timeslot -- Sundays at 9pm -- on January 7. The two-episode series premiere includes:

"New Love and a New Home" (2pm): Newlyweds are on the hunt for a home with a view in Great Exuma where they can escape when he returns from overseas military duty. With the help of a local agent, they search for a low-maintenance property that gives them a place to relax and has space to entertain their extended family.

"From Iowa to Eleuthera" (2:30pm): With six kids and busy careers, an Iowa couple searches for a reprieve from their hectic lives. After falling in love with the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, they're determined to find the perfect home where their family can spend quality time together in paradise.
