Plot Synopsis

BAD JUDGE is a half-hour comedy series that centers on Rebecca Wright, one of Los Angeles' toughest and most respected criminal court judges, who has a reputation for unorthodox behavior in the courtroom and wild-child behavior in her private life. At the San Bernardino County court system, she works with: Tom Barlow, a dapper DA and brown-noser, who would climb over Rebecca's dead body to advance his own career; Tedward, her courtroom's bailiff, who gets swept up in her impulsive and chaotic personal life; and her boss, Judge Hernandez, who gives her extra work because he believes in her as a judge. While there's no shortage of male admirers who would love to spend time with her, she's not ready to settle down, except when Robby, an 8-year-old boy whose parents she put in jail,- needs her help. He may, in fact, be the one thing that starts to tame this judge. Will Ferrell, Anne Heche, and Kate Walsh are executive producers of BAD JUDGE.

On Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, NBC premiered the series finale of BAD JUDGE. In the series ender, Rebecca has a chance at breaking a courtroom record, but drama with Michelle's ex-husband threatens to slow the process. At the same time, Tom tries desperately to form official friendships with the gang. Meanwhile, Tedward and Gary search for the perfect gift for Rebecca.
