Plot Synopsis

Antique car expert Corky Coker and his son-in-law, Greg Cunningham, crisscross the backroads of the Southeast United States, searching for barns with vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles that are diamonds-in-the-rough, hidden away for years -- or just plain forgotten. When they find a gem, Corky wheels and deals for the best price, uses his own money to buy the vehicle, and then his crew restore and resell his purchase, while working at his shop, Honest Charley Garage, in Chattanooga, TN, where his daughter, Casey, runs the operation and Greg oversees restorations led by head wrench Hal. In each 30-minute episode of BACKROAD GOLD, Corky may purchase up to four vehicles, and at least one of them is restored.
