Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Chuck Lorre and series creator Marco Pennette, B POSITIVE is a half-hour comedy series that revolves around Drew, a therapist and newly divorced dad who is faced with finding a kidney donor when he runs into Gina, a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own. Together, they form an unlikely and life-affirming friendship, as they begin a journey that will forever impact both of their lives. Gabby is Gina's best friend; Julia is Drew's ex-wife; Maddie is Drew and Julia's teenage daughter; and Eli is a new friend of Drew's who is also going through dialysis. After a five-week break, B POSITIVE returned with new episodes on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 8:30pm ET/PT on CBS. In the winter premiere, "Open Heart Surgery," Gina needs to keep herself together to pass a psych evaluation while dealing with the news of an ex's engagement.

The sophomore season of B POSITIVE premiered on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 9:30pm ET/PT on CBS. In the season opener, "Love, Taxes and a Kidney," as Gina and Drew adjust to life after surgery, Drew develops romantic feelings for someone new, and Gina gets surprising news about a friend's death. After a four-week break, B POSITIVE returned with new episodes on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 9:30pm ET/PT on CBS. In the winter premiere, "Heartburn, Woodstock and Ribs," Drew returns from his road trip to be with Gina and the retirement home residents and staff and mourn the death of a beloved friend. Guest stars: Sara Amini (Hannah), Rico E. Anderson (Officer Nelson), Reggie DeLeon (Ramon), and Andy Mackenzie (Stewie).

On Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT, CBS premiered "Juneau, Froyo and Ronald Reagan," the Season 2 finale of B POSITIVE. Gina is torn after getting an offer to sell Valley Hills to a rival assisted living residence. Also, Drew prepares to leave on his big trip to Alaska. Guest cast: Rondi Reed (Irene) and Ryan Cartwright (Asher).
