Plot Synopsis

When Detective Michael Britten awakens after an accident, he finds himself living in two parallel realities -- one in which his wife, Hannah, dies and he must raise his sullen son, Rex, by himself and the other where his son dies and he and his wife must deal with the grief of losing their only child. In each reality, Michael works with a different partner, and he investigates crimes while using his two realities to gain unique perspectives and link clues that cross between his two worlds. Plus, Michael has a bureau-assigned therapist in each reality, but he has no interest in proving either one false, despite the work of both therapists to untangle his two worlds.
