Plot Synopsis

AUCTION KINGS showcases one of the country's most storied auction houses, which is known for offering eccentric items like vampire killer cases, 60-year-old meteorites, ancient hand cannons, and jewel encrusted gold pencils. After working at his father's antique store for 20 years, Paul Brown now owns the Atlanta-based Gallery 63 and has made a name for himself as the go-to guy for bidders looking for those one-of-a-kind pieces that can only be found inside his doors. The bidders and sellers come from all walks of life, looking to make money, buy a unique piece or simply enjoy the excitement of winning. Each week Paul and his crew -- Cindy Shook, Jon Hammond, and Delfino Ramos -- assist in digging into each item's history with the help of experts, breathing new life into some objects. In season 3, Paul is also joined by: Jamie Breese, the audacious and cheeky London-based authenticator and collectibles expert seen regularly across the UK, who is the author of the one stop best-selling antiques guide, "Make a Mint"; and pickers Ernie and Steve Garrett (aka the Garrett Brothers), an outspoken and outlandish duo who venture around the country and hunt down overlooked treasures from out-of-the way places. AUCTION KINGS returned for its fourth season on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 9pm ET with a one-hour episode featuring Paul's crew going on a Gallery 63 Pick-Off where each player has $500 and 1 hour to pick their treasures at an antique auction.
