Plot Synopsis

In this one-hour reality series, a group of women adjust to life without their former superstar husbands, as they live their own lives and hang out together in the thriving music and entertainment capital of the South. ATLANTA EXES stars: Tameka Raymond (ex-wife of singer Usher), who once enjoyed the perks and privileges that come with being married to an international music superstar, and now dedicates much of her time to the charitable foundation she started in memory of her late son, Kile; Christina Johnson (ex-wife of CeeLo Green), an interior designer to the stars, who still receives lavish gifts from CeeLo after their eight-year divorce, which scares off potential suitors; Monyetta Shaw (ex-fiance of Ne-Yo), an author and businesswoman, who is busy penning a children's book series based on the lively personality of her toddler, while still living with Ne-Yo when he's in Atlanta; Sheree Buchanan (ex-wife of former pro football player Ray Buchanan), who co-owns a dessert catering company and also has a business that specializes in creating custom bedazzled hookah pipes; and Torrei Hart (ex-wife of comedian Kevin Hart), who is an actress, comedian, and producer. When ATLANTA EXES, an extension of the franchise from HOLLYWOOD EXES, premiered on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT, VH1 broadcast a two-hour series premiere, showing back-to-back new episodes. In the series opener, Tameka moves out of the home she shared with her ex-husband and hosts a "packing party," while Torrei joins the group. Then, in the night's second episode, Sheree finds out that Tameka has been talking about her behind her back and Torrei decides to take Tameka to the mat.

On Monday, September 29, 2014, VH1 debuted the Season 1 finale of ATLANTA EXES. In the season ender, Tameka hosts a 5K race in honor of her late son, Kile Glover, but after the recent drama, Sheree decides to snub the event.
