Plot Synopsis

ARNE DAHL is a Swedish crime thriller series about an elite team of detectives, Stockholm's A Unit, led by Jenny Hultin. When it looks like a serial killer is responsible for the murders of high-flying financiers, police inspector Jenny Hultin puts together a team of top detectives, including Paul Hjelm, who is saved from a disciplinary hearing for shooting a hostage taker when he said he was unarmed. The 'A Unit' pursues the Fat Cat Killer, exposing tensions within the newly-formed group and revealing the link between the financier killings and the Estonian mafia. After working 24 hours a day to solve the case, the team is then confronted with another challenge: hunt down the Kentucky Killer, an infamous American serial killer, who is on the loose in Sweden on a new killing spree, using bloodthirsty methods that can be traced back to the Vietnam War. Broadcast in Swedish with English subtitles, MHz Worldview aired the U.S. premiere of this series on September 7, 2013 at 9pm ET.
