Plot Synopsis

The gameplay and payouts are a little different for this syndicated version, but the premise is the same as the original primetime series -- contestants must answer questions that a 5th grader should know. In the syndicated version, the payouts are based on the difficulty of the question ($500 for Grade 1; $1,000 for Grade 2; $2,500 for Grade 3; $3,500 for Grade 4; $5,000 for Grade 5) instead of increasing the payout based on the number of correct answers. More importantly, the contestant does not flunk out in the syndicated version when giving a wrong answer; instead, the contestant must answer all ten questions. Finally, on the bonus 11th question in this syndicated version, the contestants, if they choose, can earn 10x their winnings with a correct answer or lose everything with a wrong answer. Note that this syndicated version also aired on CMT beginning September 21, 2009 and on MyNetworkTV starting September 29, 2009.
