Plot Synopsis

THE APPRAISERS is a half-hour reality series that follows three automobile appraisers -- Tom Cox (the Classic Car Guy), Chris Ritter (the Car Geek), and Ben Nef (the Vegas High Roller) -- as they travel across America, revealing how much each owner's pride and joy is worth. Because the trio have a breadth of interests, backgrounds and expertise, this series features everything from antiques, classics, muscle, luxury and exotic cars to old trucks, motorcycles and automotive memorabilia. Cox is a co-founder of the Virginia Association of Car Councils, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Museum of Transportation, the Antique Automobile Club of America, and the AACA Museum. Ritter is a research authority and the Head Librarian for the Antique Automobile Club of America Library. Nef built custom motorcycles in Idaho before moving to Las Vegas for the opportunity to partner with Motorcars International. In the series opener, Ben tackles the appraisal of a 1950 Mercury Coupe Resto-Mod; Chris gauges the value of a 1941 Cadillac Series Sixty Special; Tom values a "one of one" 1960 Imperial Limousine, formerly owned by Nelson Rockefeller; and then the guys have different ideas about a 1956 Corvette that's going to auction and place a friendly wager on the outcome.
