Plot Synopsis

APPLE & ONION is a quarter-hour animated series that introduces besties Apple and Onion, who have decided to leave their hometowns to experience big city living. With Apple's uncontainable enthusiasm and Onion's outlandish imagination, the two pals embark on hilarious misadventures, often bringing fresh and unexpected insights into modern life. The duo find the city unfamiliar and confusing, but with an unstoppable enthusiasm they discover their own special and often insightful path through the journey called life. Joined by an eclectic lively mix of anthropomorphic food friends that include Hotdog, Lemon Drop, Pancake and countless others, the can-do and optimistic Apple and Onion encounter adventures on every avenue, take on the challenges of big city living and bring cheer and goodness to wherever they go. One week before the official series premiere, Cartoon Network released the first two episodes on the Cartoon Network App and VOD on Friday, February 16.

On Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6-6:30pm ET/PT, Cartoon Network premiered the final two episodes of APPLE & ONION's first season as part of a two-hour block (6-8pm) of episodes:

"Pancake's Bus Tour" (6pm): Apple and Onion go on a guided bus tour as part of their plan to get Apple's shoe back.

"Block Party" (6:15pm): Apple and Onion try to outwit a mean duck who has taken over their building's roof.
