Plot Synopsis

ANIMAL COPS: ON PATROL is one-hour reality series that follows animal investigators as they explore cases of animal cruelty, rescue sick and abused animals and fight for justice on their behalf. On Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 9-11pm ET/PT, Animal Planet premiered back-to-back episodes of the program, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the night's first new episode (9pm), "A Dog's Gotta Eat," the Phoenix Animal Cops are investigating reports of several dogs belonging to one owner who appear to be malnourished. They'll need to convince the owner to start giving them more food or escalate the situation if necessary. Then, in the night's second episode (10pm), "Healing Wounds," animal investigators rescue a stranded cat from a dangerous situation, as well as investigate a bloody trail leading to a dog who is in dire straits.
