Plot Synopsis

Described as "SOUTH PARK with an Asian attitude" and based on the original character in Lela Lee's "Angry Little Girls" comic-book series, ANGRY LITTLE ASIAN GIRL follows a young girl, Kim Lee, as she deals with her immigrant parents, ignorant friends and sometimes boyfriend, as well as stereotypes, injustices, and everyday annoyances. Lela Lee created "Angry Little Asian Girl" in 1994 as a sophomore at UC Berkeley, later launching the website angrylittleasiangirl.com, developing new characters, and writing a book series. Mnet aired a sneak peek of this series on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 8pm ET, with back-to-back 15-minute episodes. The series will officially premiere in 2013.
