Plot Synopsis

The 91st AMERICA'S THANKSGIVING PARADE, stepping off at 9am on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, was televised live on Thursday, November 23, 2017 on WDIV-TV in the Motor City from 9am-Noon and as a one-hour national broadcast reaching more than 140 major American cities later the same day. The 2017 parade features co-Grand Marshals, retired WDIV anchor Carmen Harlan and rap star Big Sean, who led the parade down Woodward Avenue and were joined by these celebrities: Johnny Weir, Frankie Ballard, Karriem Riggins, Trinitee Stokes, Liam Fennecken with the Broadway production "School of Rock," and Yankee Air Museum Rosie the Riveter Tribute Corps, with two Detroit-born original riveters Clara Doutly & Phyllis Roullier.
