Plot Synopsis

AMERICA DECLASSIFIED follows investigators, as they research and uncover conspiracy theories, secrets, and mysteries from locations across the United States. In the one-hour premiere episode, former CIA officer Mike Baker travels to Dallas, 50 years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, to investigate the conspiracy theories surrounding the crime of the century, as he tries to solve the mystery: Did Lee Harvey Oswald act alone in the Texas School Book Depository? Plus, science Investigator Cara Santa Maria visits the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) in Loving, NM, where she explores the country's only underground nuclear waste dump, which houses tons of low-level radioactive waste in caverns cut into a natural salt bed more than half a mile below earth's surface. Then, Michael Stephens, the creator and host of VSAUCE, YouTube's most popular science and technology show, talks with a man who hunts down radio signals in the Quiet Zone, a location deep in the lush Allegheny Mountain Range in Green Bank, WV, where wireless electronics are strictly banned to protect the world's largest steerable radio telescope.
