Plot Synopsis

In this reboot of the iconic TV and movie franchise, ALVINNN!!! AND THE CHIPMUNKS follows brothers Alvin, Simon and Theodore who tour the world as famous rock stars and still manage to go to school. Along with their best friends, The Chipettes, Alvin and his chipmunk brothers cause tons of trouble on and off the stage while their dad, Dave, tries to manage these three rambunctious rodents, while writing all of their hit songs. The three brothers get into as much trouble as usual, but this new series takes place in modern times and tackles contemporary topics like smart phones, talking toys and school bullying. Each 15-minute story features its own song. Nickelodeon aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 4pm ET/PT. In the U.S. debut, Theodore's new talking-teddy bear is driving Alvin and Simon nuts. So, they decide to rewire the bear's hard drive so the bear will follow their directions! Plus, Alvin is none-too thrilled about going back to school -- just like every year. That is until he sees the new Principal and then it's love at first sight.
