Plot Synopsis

Based on the web series of the same name, ALTERNATINO WITH ARTURO CASTRO is a half-hour sketch comedy series that features series creator Arturo Castro using modern Latino identity -- misconceptions and all -- as a fresh filter for cultural commentary about our daily lives and the zeitgeist...all rooted in his personal experience. This variety series, centers around the Latinx millennial experience. In the season opener, "The Date," Arturo dates a woman obsessed with his Latino-ness, a father struggles to have the sex talk with his woke son, and the Guatemalan tourism industry tries a new tactic.
