Plot Synopsis

In ALONE: FROZEN six of ALONE's strongest participants from past seasons return to put their survival skills to the test for a second time. Dropped off on the frigid North Atlantic Coast of Labrador, Canada just as winter is setting in, and battling howling winds, constant rain, and North America's most fierce cold-weather predators, survivalists will set out to last fifty days in a location with the densest population of Polar Bears in Canada and face extreme conditions worse than any previous season of ALONE. With just a few supplies and their previous experiences to learn from, the survivalists who go the distance will win their share of the $500,000 cash prize. Returning survivalists of ALONE: FROZEN include fan favorites Greg Ovens (Season 3), Woniya Thibeault (Season 6), Callie Russell (Season 7), Mark D'Ambrosio (Season 7), Amos Rodriguez (Season 7) and Michelle Finn (Season 8).

On Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:30pm ET/PT, History channel premieres "Before the Freeze," a one-hour special that takes an inside look at ALONE: FROZEN.

ALONE: FROZEN made its official series debut on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on History Channel. In the season opener, "50 Day Freeze," six ALONE veterans take on their biggest -- and coldest -- challenge yet when they are dropped on the frigid North Atlantic coast just days before the start of winter. With nothing but a few supplies, participants try to last 50 days in harsh winds, punishing rain, and freezing temperatures to win their share of $500,000.

On Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 9-11pm ET/PT, History Channel premiered the season finale of ALONE: FROZEN. As the final three participants inch closer to the 50 day finish line, they're forced to adapt their strategies as they consider what their share of $500,000 is really worth to them. One survivalist comes face to face with a four legged foe, while another sets their sights on an overlooked source of meat. Heavy snow and frozen waters make the desolate wilderness even harder to tame.
