Plot Synopsis

Host Laila Ali, the youngest daughter of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, travels around the globe to track down the world's most compelling and inspiring stories about amateur and professional athletes. In each 30-minute episode, Laila visits with two athletes, including: ultra marathon runner Pat Farmer, who sets out to run the treacherous route from the North Pole to the South Pole, traversing 13,000 miles in 14 countries; Olympic skier Lindsay Vonn, who overcame her worst fear to win a gold medal; and many more inspirational people in sports. This series premiered as part of CBS/Litton Entertainment's three-hour educational/informational programming block on Saturday mornings, branded "The CBS Dream Team, It's Epic!," which is targeted at 13-to-16-year-old viewers. In addition to airing on CBS, this programming block is available on American bases in more than 175 countries on the American Forces Network (AFN), a worldwide radio and television broadcast network that airs programming to service members and their families at American bases as well as those serving on 140 U.S. Navy ships at sea. Plus, the programs will be accompanied by an enhanced audio description of the scenes in all episodes -- inserted during existing pauses in the show's audio track -- to better reach viewers with learning disabilities, autism, or visually impairments, as well as for English language learners.

ALL IN WITH LAILA ALI returned for its second season on Saturday, September 27, 2014 as part of CBS' Saturday morning educational & informational programming block (check local listings). In the season opener, "Endangered," Laila tells the story of one woman's courageous journey to save orphaned orangutans and prepare them for a return to the wild. Also, one man's mission to save an entire species of rhinos by relocating them via helicopter.
