Plot Synopsis

Inspired by a question from his daughter Nina, in each half-hour episode of ONE SIMPLE QUESTION, Italian TV personality Alessandro Cattelan seeks to answer a different question in each installment while searching for happiness through interviews and unique experiences alongside celebrity guests. These great sport icons and prestigious names of cinema, music and television are going to help Alessandro to answer one apparently simple question from different points of view (one for each episode), after his daughter Nina candidly asked: "Dad, how can we be happy?" To answer this "simple question," Cattelan traveled through Italy and abroad, confronting and sharing unique experiences with his companions, giving life to a tale about the elements that make each one of us happy. Leaving the TV studios, with an original set-up, Cattelan experiments on new ways of communicating and, above all, he puts himself out there by showing a side he never shared before. Celebrity guests include soccer legend Roberto Baggio, filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, former soccer player Gianluca Vialli, comedian Geppi Cucciari, Francesco Mandelli, and happiness expert Mo Gawdat. The entire six-episode first season of ONE SIMPLE QUESTION dropped on Friday, March 18, 2022 on Netflix.
