Plot Synopsis

In ALASKA HAUNTING, families call in paranormal investigators as their last hope after being tormented by spirits lurking in the shadows of Alaska's isolated cabins. Miles of forest separate neighbors in America's northern-most state, but hauntings are so common there that locals turn to the Internet to share their terrifying tales. Using re-enactments and first-person interviews, each one-hour episode features a new victim living in a different part of The Last Frontier, including: the Cristallo family, who moved from California to the former gold-mining town of Salcha, Alaska where Lita and her daughter Bonnie broke ground on their new dream home, releasing a scary secret buried in the ice; Jess and her boyfriend Dusty, who moved into a remote log cabin in the woods in Point Mackenzie, Alaska, where the couple has awakened a vengeful spirit and it wants them out; and many more people living in haunted houses throughout Alaska, who share their scary ghost stories.

On Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, Destination America premiered the season finale of ALASKA HAUNTING during an all-day marathon (2pm-Midnight) that also included encore episodes of the series. In the season ender, "Homestead Horror," Misty relocates her family to Wasilla, AK, but she has no idea what her new home's previous owners had left behind. As members of her family are visited by something other-worldly, Misty fears she has moved in with something sinister.
