Plot Synopsis

ALASKA GOLD DIGGERS is a reality series that follows Newport Beach's Sarajane Bartholomae and her four adult daughters, as they leave Southern California to reopen family-owned gold mines in Alaska, while racing against the season-ending winter to strike it rich. Sarajane 'SJ' Bartholomae inherited two Alaskan gold mines after her self-made oil and gold tycoon father, William 'Popper' Bartholomae, was murdered when she was a young child. Now, she and her adult daughters -- Tori, Krista, Kamme and Korre -- have pooled their money to revitalize the family's abandoned gold mines in Nome and Fairbanks, Alaska. After SJ and her daughters arrive at the Gold Run Mine in Nome, they assemble a grizzled, Alaskan mining crew to work their property. Once the mine is back up and running, despite severe weather and suspicions about low gold counts, the five women move on to Fairbanks, where they put together a second crew. With only six weeks to get both mines producing gold, the women face the full wrath of Alaska, as they try to continue their family legacy and secure a return on their investment.
