Plot Synopsis

AIRPORT 24/7: MIAMI follows nine airport personnel at Miami International Airport (MIA), whose jobs it is to keep one of America's largest airports running around the clock. In this 30-minute series, the MIA crew must deal with unruly passengers, transport exotic packages, manage severe weather, intercept drug smugglers, secure a presidential landing, and much more. The crew includes: Director of terminal operations Dickie Davis ("First Lady of MIA"); Deputy director of operations Ken Pyatt ("The Boss"); terminal operations senior agents Heidi Anthony ("Your Princess in Shining Armor") and Tony Cooper ("The Mayor"); terminal operations control room agent Darius Bradshaw ("Mr. Cool"), who intently watches the monitors to see what's going on in the terminal; ramp duty manager Albert Cordeschi ("Ramp Ringleader"); Director of security Lauren Stover ("Supreme Queen of Security"); terminal security agent Ericka Middleton ("The Charmer"); Miami-Dade County motorcycle officer Stretch Rutledge ("MIA's Gentle Giant"); and others like Kevin Kennedy with US Customs and Border Protection, TSA supervisor Daniel Tabares, and many more. Travel Channel aired the Season 2 premiere of this series on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 9pm ET, with back-to-back new episodes featuring two international flight that collide on the jet way and a large drug shipment uncovered by Customs and Border Protection.
