Plot Synopsis
To find love, seven strangers leave Japan and embark on a journey through the continent of Africa together. Challenges, adventure and romance await! The new members assemble in the first country on their journey: Kenya. At various points during the first season, the group includes: Shu-mai; Su-su; U-zi; Kou; Hide; Husky; Haribo; O-ji; dance instructor Yuina (joins in Episode 11); ninja buff Joy-kun; Joy-kun (joins in Episode 11); idol cafe proprietor Aonyan (joins in Episode 16); and former host club manager Genove (joins in Episode 16). Before heading out on safari, Shu-mai learns he shares a birthday with Su-su. The members visit Kibera, the largest slum on the continent. They stop by the Ainori school that was founded in 2005 and meet some of its graduates. Without his cellphone, U-zi doesn't know how to tell if Kou likes him back. To get her to notice him, he does something a little strange. Hide gets a chilly reception. Encouraged by Husky, Shu-mai tries to talk to Su-su along the White Nile, but she has her eye on someone else.
