Plot Synopsis

This series follows the lives of individuals struggling with addiction, documenting their harrowing struggle to become sober as they work with interventionist Kristina Wandzilak. Kristina pulls from her own experiences as a mother, a wife, a top-selling author and a recovering addict to help people with this debilitating disease, bringing a level of understanding and compassion -- along with her unconventional methods -- to the healing process. Season 2 featured the following stories: Lindsay, a 25-year-old addicted to prescription painkillers; 22-year-old Aaron who is addicted to heroin; 33-year-old Megan and 48-year-old Theresa, both alcoholics; Josh, 37, Jason, 38 and Phil, 58, all addicted to meth and Gina & Sean, a 35-year-old and 27-year-old married couple addicted to heroin and meth. For its second season in 2012, ADDICTED switched networks from TLC to Discovery Fit & Health.
