Plot Synopsis

A-LIST TO PLAYLIST is an eight-episode reality series that follows Cho Jung-seok who, after a 20-year acting career, takes on the challenge of debuting as a singer in 100 days, supported by a constellation of industry stars and creative minds. The series opens with a mini-agency springing up to launch Jung-seok as a rookie singer. To test his potential, a surprise evaluation session is set -- but the judges are tough. After a shaky start, Jung-seok invites music sensation and old friend IU to his studio for her honest opinion -- but can he really pull this off? Jung-seok hesitates when IU advises him to rap. Unsure if he can do it, his team seeks Dynamicduo's guidance. Later, his secret YouTube channel soars. When Cho Jung-seok is ready for his first on-stage performance as a singer, will he win over the crowd? Or will he flop in front of thousands?
