Plot Synopsis
A developmentally disabled, working class woman struggles to care for her six kids when her factory worker husband becomes mentally ill. A social worker decides she is unable to care for the unruly children and places them in foster care. A sympathetic attorney intervenes and takes the case to court where she eventually triumphs and regains custody.
