Plot Synopsis

When the married president of a real estate firm is found dead, the police arrest a secretary who had just left his apartment. The company comptroller painstakingly plants clues to frame her co-worker while manipulating her boss's widow into giving her control of the company. The deception goes masterfully, until the killer discovers that there is a witness to her crime--a private investigator hired by the president's suspicious wife to photograph her husband's infidelity.
